Slipcovers Plus Home Décor is a full-service residential and commercial custom slipcover, upholstery, window treatment and interior design business.  Jessica Maycroft-Crawford has owned and operated Slipcovers Plus Home Décor since 1993.

With an eye for design and attention to detail, everything Jessica creates is crafted to your exact specifications to fit your personal tastes and functional lifestyle. In her on site workroom, Jessica fabricates each client’s custom project with extreme care and supervises the complete installation process.


How Placing Orders Works:
I can quote yardage & pricing by asking a few simple questions either over the phone or by e-mail.  You may also take pictures and email them to me.

There is a list of fabric companies on my website for you to search for fabrics, trims and other accessory items.  Just click on the Fabrics tab above.  If you find an item that you would like to see in person, I can order samples for you.  You may also elect to get your own fabric from other sources if you choose.

Once you’ve made a final selection and want to place an order, your total fabric balance must be paid in full prior to your order being processed.  If custom fabrication is required, a 50% deposit for the labor cost must paid before fabrication begins.  The balance of your project will be due upon final delivery, pickup or at time of installation.


For Slipcovers:
Once the fabric is in hand, yours or mine, I then come to where the furniture is and cut and pin the fabric to the furniture.  This step usually requires a 1-2 hour window of time, depending how many pieces of furniture I am doing at one time.  If it is a small piece of furniture, I can pick up then deliver upon completion. I then bring the fabric back to my workroom where I begin fabrication.  This step requires approx. 4-6 weeks, depending on the season.

For Upholstery:
We can schedule a time for me to either come and pick your furniture up or you may deliver it to me.  Once the furniture has been finished we will set up another time to do the same as before for delivery or pickup.   Once furniture is in my possession, I require approx. 4-6 weeks, depending on the season.

I do charge a consultation fee of $60.00 to come out to provide quotes only.  When an order is placed this fee will be absorbed within the cost of labor.  Also, I do charge mileage for distances beyond 10 miles outside the Grand Rapids area at .50 cents per mile.

Workshops;

Sewing Workshops - Consist of, Home Decor, Upholstery, Slipcovers and creating other home furnishings; Classes for beginners, intermediate or advanced; Hands on instruction is provided. Private lessons are available - Contact Jessica direct.

I accept checks and all major credit cards through my Pay Pal account.
